James Harvey is a musical theatre composer, lyricist, and performer. His comedic one-man show, The Bald Faced Truth: Comedy Songs by James Harvey, has played to sold-out audiences in New York City and addresses such timely issues as male pattern baldness, porn addiction, the #resistance, and cats.

James wrote book, music, and lyrics for The Crack in the Ceiling, a darkly comedic musical about a single mother, her son, and their kitchen ceiling. The show was produced at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and the New York International Fringe Festival, where it received the award for Overall Excellence in a Musical.

A member of the BMI Musical Theater Writing Advanced Workshop, James is currently writing the music for a show about the supreme court. He is also writing the book, music, and lyrics for a musical about amazon.com.

In addition to writing and performing, James is a sought-after music director, vocal coach, and accompanist, working for such companies as Tada Youth Theater, A Class Act NY, and the American Musical Theater Academy. Bob Muir has been singing funny songs in and around the New York area both on his own and with the Band Bob Muir & The Enemy Below for almost 20 years now. He’s played in the NY Funny Songs Fest, the Knitting Factory, the Astoria Cringe fest and far more open mikes than he cares to admit.
His style influenced by such elements as the Doctor Demento Show, Dada, Frank Zappa, the Ramones, the Cramps, the Tubes and Monty Python is something he’s come to call cringe, where the songs can make one a little uncomfortable even while laughing.
He’s currently in the process of writing and preparing songs for recording of another cd – The Bob Muir and the Enemy Below CD –“That’s just So Wrong” is on Spotify, how it got there he’s not sure but it’s there.

He has been described as "a great musician with the voice of a used car salesman." In his free time he takes pictures of bugs and builds dolls. Conan O'Brien once (unfavorably) compared him to Buffalo Bill from "The Silence of the Lambs."
Also, believe it or not, he is single.
